These cases make the new Apple remote more user friendly. The new remote is very small and thin. Since it has a sensitive touchpad, I was constantly, inadvertently activating the remote. The remote blends in with everything so, I was forever looking for it. Also, it has a tendency to slip out of my hand. Since the cases come in an array of colors, I was able to choose a contrasting color, one that I could easily spot, for each room. The case is easy to put on - no struggles like some cell phone cases. It has a much needed grip pattern on the back. The case also helps orient the top from the bottom. Those of you who have this remote know how important this feature is, its hard to tell when you first pick up the remote. I bought three different colors. The lime green one is fluorescent and glows in the dark, not much, but just enough to find it when youre half asleep. Best purchase Ive made since purchasing the Apple TV boxes to CUT THE CABLE!

My couch is dark blue and the Apple TV remote is dark-colored and small - bad combo! This case is great for visibility and protection.

I wish I knew sooner that this product was available. I never thought to look for a case for my Apple TV remote. however, the Apple TV remote is very fragile, and after a couple of spills in the house, it has a crack across the touch portion. It’s almost as fragile as an iPhone. The corner of my Apple TV remote is sharp, almost as if it is made of glass. I purchased this rubber protector so that it doesn’t continue to break if it falls again, which it most certainly will, and also to protect our fingers from the corner that feels like glass. I wish I would’ve known about this before it had a crack in it, but at least now it is protected.

I’m glad I purchased this! My kids kept losing the remote because it’s small, dark and slippery. It’s made of a nice silicone material to keep it from slipping between the couch cushions and makes it easier to grip and hold without accidentally touching the pad and changing channels. It’s a bad remote design but this makes it better. Definitely recommend it!

This takes virtually no time to put on and makes the remote easier to hold, harder to pick up backward, visible from across the room, and it wont go between the sofa cushions without effort. Theres a noticeable seam around the edges thats an artifact of the injection molding, an issue I dont have with a cheaper case I bought elsewhere, but this its still totally functional.

This color is bright like the picture. With several grandchildren around the remote gets misplaced. It is easy to see/find. The rubbery grip make is easier to hold for old hands to hold.

The 4th Gen Apple TV remote is one of the worst designed products Ive ever used, which is especially surprising coming from Apple. This simple protective case goes a long way in making the remote actually usable by making it easier to find, easier to hold and easier to avoid mistaps on the touchpad.

Great case, makes handling the Apple remote much easier.
