I had an outdoor camera that was not protected from the rain, snow, and ice. As a result when in freezing rain an icicle would form right in front of the lens. With the skin installed (install was easy), I no longer have that problem.

I would definitely recommend buying these if you plan to mount your cameras outside. They protect the camera and really should be used if you do not want troubles down the road using the cameras

Does not fit on the XT2 model. The silicon completely covers the speaker microphone audio compartment making it unusable.

I had a few cameras that were directly exposed to the elements. Whenever we received a hard rain, water would cover the camera and distort the picture. These covers seem to help with that.

This item is a simple install and does not block lenses ! It hides the cameras better depending on your background color.

Nice idea but the camera is unreliable. I purchased this to be able to see my home when Im not there. I continually got a message saying unable to obtain live view (or something like that). Submitted a trouble ticket with Blink and three weeks later I still havent received a response. Why have a security camera if it cant be viewed when away from home. Also, it doesnt record all movement. When tested, it missed recording about 50% of the time. Not sure if its because I had 3 cameras but whatever the deal was, its not worth my time or money so Im returning it. Very disappointing.
