decided to add some additional protection to three of my Blink XT cameras and the white covers added some much needed blending in with the mounting location. Covers are easy to install without changing your camera area of interest by removing the camera carefully from the mount without disturbing the mount setting. Only miner adjustments were needed after reinstall of the camera to the mounts.

They provide great protection for the cameras from the weather and sun.

I had a few cameras that were directly exposed to the elements. Whenever we received a hard rain, water would cover the camera and distort the picture. These covers seem to help with that.

I bought these protective covers to use on my new Blink Outdoor cameras (Im referring to the new 9/2020 release cams that succeeded the XT series) after reading some Q&A here saying that they would fit them. Yes they do FIT the new cams, but because Blink re-arranged the location of everything on the front of the new 9/2020 release cameras versus where it all was on the older XT series cams, this product now covers up the blue operation light and also covers the infrared light (see attached photos), so at night you get no IR illumination, pitch dark images. This is definitely not the fault of the product, they made no claim for this item to be compatible with them. I just assumed since people said they would FIT, that they would work just fine. Not the case. You get no IR illumination at night while using these on the cams. Learned the hard way, the difference between just fit, and fit AND functionality. Im in the process of returning them now. If you use the new release cams in areas where after dark they get enough ambient light from porch lights and/or floodlights where you dont need or require IR illumination at night, you may be able to still get away with using these covers. I put one of these covers on one of my driveway cams where I have three 150w equivalent LED motion floods lighting up the area and didnt even notice a difference in image quality after dark. It was when I installed one on the other side of the house where the cam is in pitch black dark and went to re-mount and re-aim it after installation that I was baffled why I couldnt see anything anymore, once I took the cover back off and it worked fine again with IR illumination, thats when I connected the dots and figured out what the problem was with the IR light being blocked with the cover installed. Its a shame because I like them and they seem to be a good item. Thats why I still gave them 4 stars here, theyre fine for what they are and its not their fault that they dont fit a product they never promised to fit. They are just for XT series cams, not the new 9/2020 release cams. Buy accordingly.

Easy to use

Does exactly what it should protects the blink camera while the lip helps keep water of the camera for a clear picture during rain or snow.

Excellent rubber cover for cameras. Only problem is the bottom of the cover doesnt have a whole for the microphone so I used a razor blade knife to make a hole...
