My African Grey really likes it

My African Grey parrot likes this perch but its not his favorite perch. The gritty surface helps trims his nails and beak, but I think it also irritates his feet so he doesnt stay on it too long. I installed this on the outside of his cage so he can use it while playing outside during the day. I dont see this shape of hard fixed perch often and this is nicely made.

This is a good perch, but read the dimensions and see if it will really fit your needs. The picture with the macaw is Photoshopped. A macaw would be several times larger in proportion to the perch than how they show it. This perch would be most appropriate for small birds. Also, be sure to provide your parrot with other types of perches, and check his/her feet regularly to make sure the rough surface is not causing irritation.

This one is great. Helps with filing nails and beak and was easy to install. When cleaning I say use only soap and water since it’s rough texture makes it hard to clean.
