I needed some plugs and these looked a bit flash, but I must say Im really impressed. Using an 8mm rather that a 7mm hole means these fit better and are more versatile that the cheap brown 7mm plugs you get everywhere. Would definitely buy again.

Very very good plugs, so much better than your cheap generic brown/red ones. Plenty of material so your screw wont go in angled in masonry. Good for plasterboard as it created a knot on the end. 6mm is an easy hole to drill and will provide plenty of strength to hold pretty much anything but very heavy objects.

After using these I wouldn’t use anything else. They are far superior to other plugs and keep the screws in tight. Fischer for the win

Used these for about a year now, specifically the 6mm and 8mm ones, theyre incredible - I literally wouldnt use any others now. Its a dual compound, with hard bits and soft bits, so they expand in different places depending on the surface you put them on, so you can happily use in masonry or plasterboard. With plasterboard just overtighten them a little so that it pulls the plug in further and spreads out the material internally more. Very, very impressed.

As the title says As a test I drilled a 6mm hole and inserted the plug. I then tightened (and kept tightening) the screw and it as good as pulled the screw and plug through the plasterboard. That is impressive

Compared to some of the very basic wall plugs that come supplied with things these days, these Fischer plugs are great. Theyre sturdy, give great grip when hammered into walls, and all at a reasonable price.
