> 3 dayI dunno. Ok, so first, it came with batteries in it already -- dead batteries. This is negligible so my rating really isnt based on this, because I assumed it would need batteries anyway. I guess I would just rather have no batteries come with it than dead ones. But really I felt like the songs which are designed to teach letters and sounds really werent enunciated clearly enough to really hear the sounds. And they start out teaching how to spell NARWHAL. Like, for a kid just learning their alphabet, narwhal? Then there is the game. Find the drum! Find the letter F! Heres the kicker, the thing makes cool sounds and lights whether you find the thing it asked for or not. So Im not sure there is any real excitement or reward for getting the answer right. It just seems like a tedious game and maybe not the most effective. Im sure it helps children learn a little, I am also sure this will bore them quickly. This would be completely over the head of an 18 month old, except for some of the songs would probably keep their attention. But they wouldnt have any chance at the game. The game is more geared towards 3 and up.

> 3 dayMy 7-year-old is nonverbal autistic so a lot of the toys I buy are made for children younger than her, but she absolutely loves this toy... I love the ability to link the other animals to it too pretty awesome the hour is the best bang for the buck.

> 3 dayIt’s kind of pointless. In order to push the buttons to activate, you basically have to knock the toy to the ground. It really doesn’t do much.

> 3 dayLinkimals are like cats, can’t just have just one. They are so cute when they chatter to each other. The “hello friends” song will get stuck in your head!

> 3 dayMy toddler loves this toy. He actually has pretty okay intractability with the other linkimals. But he does have fewer phrases than say the penguin. Great for learning shapes. Crescent shape is a bit odd though. I don’t remember that being a shape growing up.
