I have purchased many other name brand scissors, and I always end up back with these.

Excellent for routine cutting tasks in the kitchen: Vacuum bags, plastic bags/wrappers, paper, etc. Very sharp and comfortable to use.

My husband wanted left handed scissors forever and I finally got these for him and he loves them. No more struggling with right handed scissors (and I dont have to cut things for him anymore)!

Since there was some controversy in earlier reviews if the scissors are truly left-handed, I was hesitant when ordering them for my son school supplies. Well, we have just received the package and I can gladly report to the Amazon community that as of August 2013 this product is in fact truly left-handed scissors, both the blades and the handle. Fiskars makes excellent quality line of scissors that I was purchasing for my son over the years, so probably there is no need to talk about that. Hence overall five stars.
