> 24 hourMy computer was doing all sorts of weird things like freezing up and going to a full blue screen. A friend of mine recommended Fix-it. Hes been using it for some time and rarely has any issues with his PC anymore. With all the problems I was having, I was desparate. I didnt want to take it to a PC repair shop fearing it would cost me several hundred dollar, so I chose the cheaper alternative of buying Fixit Utilities. After a quick and easy installation, I ran some of the wizards and it found all kinds of problems with my computer. Turns out I had a bunch of issues with the registry, that Fix-it fixed for me. I also used it to clean up my hard drive (long overdue!!!) I havent had a single freeze-up or blue screen since installing and using Fix-it to solve my registry issues. My PC feels like its running faster than ever before.

> 24 hourLets be honest, I didnt try Version 14. I actually loaded a copy of Version 10 I found at a sale for $2.50. But the software should be almost identical. 14 is just updated and somewhat jiggered, then re-priced and probably no better than 10. All I wanted was a registry fix and I knew the virus protection was worthless. It was still a bad mistake.

> 24 hourI had this installed on my computer with automatic renewal. They sent the renewal notice 3xs to the WRONG email. I received an email that has a site to download the activation key. BUT GUESS WHAT? It wont accept any of my email accounts. They canceled my subscription and I then purchased a new sub, at FULL PRICE. I had to deal with someone in Malta. I Uninstaller the original copy, but still cant download the new purchase. An email to UPCLICK hasnt been answered yet. My old login keeps popping up, even after uninstallation. This is beyond crazy STUPID.

> 24 hourI have my own anti-virus and firewall and so did not install the Fix-It versions. Fix-It is a nice enough product for disk maintenance, and it did improve my start-up speed. Fix-It does not address Drivers, however. Avanquest has a separate product that claims to do that, but it is not listed on Amazon. I received some benefit from using this product, but my Driver problems remain unresolved.

> 24 hourYears ago I purchased Fixit Utilities, upon the recommendation of my computer repair person. It worked so well all those years ago when my office computer wouldnt boot on Windows XP that, upon my husbands computer getting stuck in safe mode after a windows update and wouldnt boot, it was an attempt to avoid a costly computer repair at our local shop (not the best). When the disc arrived, it took hours to get to the part where it could be used to boot the computer. Once I found out how to do this, not from the instruction book or Fix it Utilities, but rather google and youtube searches, I was able to get the computer to boot normally. But since the original problem, computer freezes, was still an issue, I wanted to install Fixit on the computer. This took several more hours, as the instructions in the book did not work for installation. I was finally able to install it, and register the product, however the rest of the program will not load, and I simply dont have the time. This is an awful program compared to the awesome program it used to be. And that lack of instruction was made all the more frustrating by the fact that there is no way to talk to a real person to find out why! All help is automated, and none of it applied. I would recommend using a different program rather than this one if you have computer issues. Unlike its previous version, this one is basicly trash, and thats where I will be throwing it when I drive to the local computer office to get it repaired!

> 24 hourCould not get it to install (my computer expertise goes back to the mid-70s when we only had punch cards!). I did not buy this program from Amazon, but from Best Buy, so as to verify that it had an install disk. I made it through multiple attempts to install, with each aborting with different reasons, such as bad email address (nope), etc.

> 24 hourI also recently threw away money on the pro versions of this crappy program and continue to have these add time and save pop ups appear randomly. Odd theres no way to get rid of these or turn them off. Shame on you, Amazon for selling this POS program. I maybe understand ads in free or trial programs, but I PAID for this POS program. This doesnt even seem to comply with Windows 10, as you cannot resize any window unless you are in 100% mode. If I didnt emphasize it enough, this is one POS program, And I wouldnt buy it!!

> 24 hourMy PC was in a terrible state. I hadnt run a clean-up in years and I knew the slow booting and constant application crashes were getting more and more frequent. I have tried other utilities in the past but FixIt seemed to work the best. Now my PC is a lot better and boots 10 times a fast as before.

> 24 hourDo not buy this product !!! It will not continue to work . I Have it i n 2 computers and it will work one time and must be reinstalled the next time I want to use it. One computer not working could be the computer but not both computers ? The pop up said that it could not find internet access . I have 5G internet . This happens every time and when I reinstall I must enter the serial # and that is another installation use and you are allowed only so many uses on one purchase. Good luck trying to contacting the company. Pretty good SCAM.
