Fix-It Utilities Professional

My computer was doing all sorts of weird things like freezing up and going to a full blue screen. A friend of mine recommended Fix-it. Hes been using it for some time and rarely has any issues with his PC anymore. With all the problems I was having, I was desparate. I didnt want to take it to a PC repair shop fearing it would cost me several hundred dollar, so I chose the cheaper alternative of buying Fixit Utilities. After a quick and easy installation, I ran some of the wizards and it found all kinds of problems with my computer. Turns out I had a bunch of issues with the registry, that Fix-it fixed for me. I also used it to clean up my hard drive (long overdue!!!) I havent had a single freeze-up or blue screen since installing and using Fix-it to solve my registry issues. My PC feels like its running faster than ever before.

I have to say this has been the worst experience I have ever had in the last 20 years dealing with a computer. People would not believe that I have been working on attempting to down load a simple virus protection program ( fix it Utilities Professional Version 15) for the last 24 hours and has yet to resolve the problem. I do know that someone in this company felt this was an ingenious idea, but it is a waste of time , unstable, and unclear.

Put this on my parents computer as Fix-It has a ton of tools for helping fix the myriad of issues that non-technical users seem to inflict upon themselves. It was easy to train the parents to use the one-click wizard to find and fix issues on their system - no more technical support calls when something goes wrong, just click the Wizard and wait for it to fix the issues. Combined with automatic anti-virus updates, I cant even fathom how much this product has saved me in troubleshooting issues on family computers. The individual tools look good as well, most have a simple mode for easy operation (read my parents), but also include an advanced mode for if you need to dig into details or you need access to more options (for me). Best of both worlds. Great product for all the tools you get, but the ease of operation is where the money is if you ask me.

I thought this would speed up my computer shutting down and booting up. It didnt. It looks like it performs a lot of maintenance tasks and it will, but so will other programs. I didnt notice that this program offered anything better than other programs do. At some point several months after purchase it started showing a pop up to extend time (months before expiration). There was no way to stop the pop-up because its in the application and not shown separately anywhere to be able to block it. I also couldnt keep Fix-it from automatically loading at startup which defeated the whole purpose of buying it to get a faster startup. Then, the clincher is that it is very difficult to uninstall this thing if you dont like it. It doesnt show an uninstall within the program itself. I tried the windows program uninstaller and that didnt work either. I tried uninstalling it with Ccleaner and that didnt work either. I finally had to download Revo uninstaller to get rid of this thing. So, I wouldnt recommend it.

This is a great utility, keeps you away from those on line repair services, They seem to call right after your computer crashes.

No way to get active technical support. No response to numerous tech support inquires. If this program has a problem and it causes your computers to malfunction all you can do is delete it. No tech support what so ever. Stay away from this program.

Never could get this to work. contacted tech support twice they only contacted me back once they said firewall and anti virus was no longer included even though it was listed in the description of the product

i have an older dell laptop and its become progressively slower at start-up. several online review sites suggested the free entry level products but they made the problem worse. most of these products require you to load a bunch of useless software that wreck your system. i installed this software 2 weeks ago and ran the registry cleaner and so far ive seen a solid improvement. will update my review once i test other features.
