Greater than one weekGarbage. After spending all that time taking the original screen off and prepping everything, I find out the replacement screen is ruined. Final step is to peel off the protective layer. It peeled off but left a huge spot. Nothing is helping to get it off. Very disappointed and dont know what to do.

> 3 dayThe perfect kit. I was scared to try a DIY screen replacement on an iPad...but was not going to pay over $100 to take it in to a shop again. This kit had everything I needed. Definitely recommend getting this kit with the replacement plastic bezel and the wifi antenna (I was trying to be careful, but did damage the one in the device while removing the broken screen. The only reason it gets 4 stars, vice 5 is the instructions are so dang small. I did watch two youtube videos that were extremely helpful: one ipad 2 broken screen replacement by Phonedoctors and ipad 2 wifi antenna replacement tutorial by Rogue Parts. If you are removing a broken screen, put packing tape over it prior to removal to keep glass from falling all over the place (this was a tip in the package instructions that was helpful). As far as the tools go, I used that blue pry tool, the green screwdriver, the metal pry/scraper tool & the plastic tool. didnt need the suction cup or guitar pic thingy. I do love that this screwdriver is magnetic...theres some teeny tiny screws...especially for the wifi antenna! Take your time on this project and it will go well. Between watching videos and going through the process, I thing I spent about 2 - 2 1/2 hours working on this thing (again...my first time ever doing anything like this!)...but it works and looks like a professional did it.

> 3 dayI bought this in December 2019. The installation went fine and it worked well for about five months. Then the home button gradually became unusable. As it stands right now, theres a 50-50 chance I can use the home button at any given time, which is not great when you really need to use the iPad. Is this just a glitch or is it a bad product? I dont know, really. The button didnt stop working due to misuse, but that doesnt necessarily mean everything the manufacture makes is bad. I could have just gotten a bad unit. However, the home button was always louder than the original Apple-made button, so I would guess its quality was always a little suspect. I only spent $22 on it, so thats probably worth a gamble for some of you. But I dont think Ill be gambling on this model again. Ill spend $20-ish on some other knock-off and hope for the best, there. Good luck if you buy this one!

> 3 dayPerfect screen and easy instal. My iPad 2 looks brand new again. Excellent screen quality for a great price. This wouldve cost over $100 to get it repaired by a store where I live. The DIY repair mightve taken an hour because I was watching steps how to do it on YouTube. Make sure you heat up the edges with a hair dryer before trying to pry off the screen. Otherwise it will crack and all the glue wont come off. Btw, you dont need a heat gun like some people say. Hair dryer worked fast and well.
