Touch screen stopped working after one week and Now thinks I’m pressing several places on the screen when not being touched

My son is hard on his iPad so I have had a lot of experience replacing cracked screens. Everything you need to replace the screen is in the box. Great product!!

It worked, but OMG... the instructions were terrible! If youre not handy and cant figure out things on your own, dont attempt replacing your screen. All the parts are there, but its like operating on someone, and eventually it brought my broken iPad back to life. Did I mention the instructions are terrible? Why do these companies feel like they have to save a few pennies by printing instructions on a 2 x 3 piece of paper? Seriously, they even tried to put illustrations on this stamp-sized piece of paper! It should come with a magnifying glass its so hard to read. If you purchase this product, I wish you luck!

Easy to install. Fits perfect on my ipad 2.

So I gave it a try based on other reviews- the reason I bought it was to replace the WiFi cable and the outer trim. All those pieces worked great but thankfully my screen wasn’t cracked so I could reuse it. The one that came in the kit was thinner and felt like plastic compared to the oem one. I tried to install it anyway and the touch functions were terrible, jumping all over and not very sensitive. I checked my connections and they were solid. I took it back off and put on my old screen and it worked perfectly again.

Well packaged! You can call me a SUPER armature because I had absolutely no idea that I could even do this. My toddler dropped and cracked the screen on the bottom corner of our iPad 3 & after some google searching I realized it would cost more to have it repaired than it’s even worth. So I figured $20 wouldn’t be that much of a loss if I completely failed at repairing it. The instructions (or photos on them) are pretty small so I just went to YouTube and found a very informative (50min) step by step video. It took me about an hour and a half...most of the time was spent removing the old adhesive on the frame, but overall it was a VERY simple fix and I would definitely use this brand again should any of our screens on our phones or tablets shatter. The iPad is as good as new again!!

Replaced screen on my MacPro, which I never thought I could do - and saved £200 that Id been quoted for the job! Whats not to like?

The packaging foam this came in melted all over the screen. I was unable to remove all of it. IPAD never worked properly.

Replace broken screen

Our screen seemed to be functioning normally after cracking but before replacing. We had no choice to replace since its used by my 3yo and it was cracked all the way through. Now the response to touch is so delayed and in some areas of the screen doesnt work so now Ive wasted my money on this. Im not sure what went wrong as all seemed to go very smoothly in the replacement. Super bummed as the repaired ipad was supposed to by my 3yos Christmas. giving a 2 since it was fairly easy and im not certain if the fault was ours or not.
