Home button is glitchy. Un useable. Do buy this.

Home button is not working. Watched a number of videos to try to trouble shoot it but was unable to make it work.

The home button only worlds about 30% of the time and it goes to the home screen and back randomly all on its own.

This was a very nice screen, and it came with the cables and home button I needed. It also came with the little rubber rim that goes around the edge just under the glass. I had never put a screen replacement on an iPad before but between multiple you tube demonstrations, I was able to accomplish it. Getting the old screen off was the hardest part. Very nice product, and if I ever need another screen, I would definitely order this one.

This kit seems to be a pretty good deal, the included tools were nice enough and the digitizer does work well, however the home button bracket was installed crooked from the factory and so it didnt line up properly with the inside of the ipad case. I attempted to move the original button cable over and this did not help, the mount itself which is attached to the inside of the glass with adhesive is just not applied correctly. I now have an ipad with a good digitizer and a broken home button, kind of disappointing.

Got this in no problem. Works great. Home button works most of the time, except when it doesnt, which is frustration. but all in all it works.
