Works as intended

Ive been using this for couple years now and the ones I purchased are not holding my dentures in place like they normally do?

BOUGHT FOR MY MOM. SHE LOST SOME WEIGHT AND HER DENTURES BECAME LOOSE SO SHE HAS BEEN USING DAILY. ALSO IT ONLY TAKES A FEW DABS TO HOLD IN PLACE ALL DAY.

No one likes having to wear dentures. There is always the fear that they will come loose and others will see. For that reason instead of getting the regular version, I got the strongest hold offered. No more loose teeth. The only downside I found was when I tried taking them out just a few hours after putting them in. It was difficult to break the bond. Then, getting off the remaining adhesive was messy, painful, and time-consuming. I cant mark it down for that though when I ordered ultra Max hold.

This item has changed its color of wrapping. It is now more blue than gold and it does not hold as long as the gold and blue one shown! I was going to send it back, but the company says its the same just in a different color design.....from my experience it is the strength is less!

This product ended my search for a denture adhesive that will last me a whole day at the least. And I am not talking about an 8 am to 8 pm use, but the whole 24-hours or more. Unlike the previous ones that Ive tried to include 3 kinds of its biggest competition that includes the menthol taste in a pink tube, the tasteless in a green tube, and the new one in a red/gold tube one application of the Fixodent Ultra Max Hold denture adhesive gives me a worry-free day of three full meals to include occasional snacks with unrestricted food choice. For the last three years, Ive avoided certain foods like steaks, fried chicken sandwich, calamari, corn cob, chips, caramel-filled chocolate bars, etc. because they pose as a challenge to my lower full denture. I thought the P brand was the best that I could get; but all three kinds (in tubes of pink, green, and red/gold) left me frustrated. They are only good for two full meals. They also do not block grainy food from getting in between your denture and your gums. But not this one. I also like that this adhesive is tasteless; and that you get a really firm adhesion in a few minutes after application. With the other brands, I normally eat only after an hour of application whereas with this product, I am ready to eat after 30. minutes of application. Removing your dentures is not too difficult should you decide to remove it earlier than a full days time. Just rinse your mouth with water to loosen it. I have found a friend for life. I do not believe I will be exloring another brand. I am basically stuck on this product on a positive note. For people who have full dentures like me, I highly recommend the Fixodent Ultra Max Hold denture adhesive. You can never go wrong on this product.

Ok so why do I say this is better than Poligrip. As far as holding the Poligrip maybe holds a bit better. But here is the deal maker for me. When you use the Poligrip and come evening when you want to take your dentures out they dont want to let go. Then when you get them out you have all the left over glue stuck to the roof of your mouth. With the Fixodent I still get the hold I want but when I take my dentures out most of the glue is stuck to the denture rather than stuck to my mouth. That has seemed to be my experience with the two.

This formula holds well but is too thick. I prefer fixodent plus it holds just as well but tastes better,is more flexible and is by far easier to remove. This stuff does not peel out in a continuous strip like fixodent plus. It has to be painstakingly removed in tiny bits
