With relocation of the security camera monitor one of the camera cables was to short. This extension cable was ideal as relocating the camera wasn’t an option.

Vastly degraded picture quality with these 25 foot cables vs. Original 60 foot cables.

Just what I needed for the security cameras.

I wanted to extend one camera so I brought these. The camera did not work correctly so I plugged in another one of my orginal 60 foot cables to test. It worked perfectly. Save your money not worth it,

I installed a new security system and one of the wiring runs was a few feet short of the panel. These extensions worked fine but the wire gauge was smaller than the wire type that came with the new system. I know that wire gauge and quality affect picture quality, but the short length did not seem to make any difference in my picture. The cable adapter connectors that came with the wire were essential. I suggest if you are extending wires, make sure you have them.

I guess for the price I should probably give it an extra star but one of the ends fell apart the first time I tried to connect it up to the camera. Thankfully Radioshack was still open and I was able to get another end and solder it onto the cable since I had already run it where I needed it. Other than that they are your average cheap Chinese thin CCTV cables. I use them in my van to install a back up camera and hopefully they will hold up

did not use because i didnt want to add adapters to the cable. they had cables which had the RCA connectors already attached.
