I installed a new security system and one of the wiring runs was a few feet short of the panel. These extensions worked fine but the wire gauge was smaller than the wire type that came with the new system. I know that wire gauge and quality affect picture quality, but the short length did not seem to make any difference in my picture. The cable adapter connectors that came with the wire were essential. I suggest if you are extending wires, make sure you have them.

These are 25ft total not each. I sent the.bavk they werent long enough.

I needed a short cable for one security camera. I bought white cables to help conceal the camera. The camera was temporarily installed with a 100 cable coupled to a 50 cable. When I removed the 150 of cable and ran the 25 cable through the wall directly to the camera, the quality went down...a lot. Since I was in a time crunch, I did what I should have done in the first place. I bought the 25 cable locally and tossed the ones purchased on-line

I was very disappointed in this product the quality is not there it is a a double wire a power and video going into one cable and then at the other end going back into two cables. Plugged in new cable and quality of the image was for had lines going through it. Removed it installed a new Swann cable at twice the length but the swan cable cleared the image up to a perfect picture. So buy name brand you get what you pay for
