> 24 hourMy softener had a small drip through the drain. With these parts it was immediately fixed. Repair was easy. Just followed YouTube videos. Anyone could do this. Saved a bundle by not calling plumber. Sorry plumber.

> 24 hourHad a bit of leaking and the brine tank filling with water - installed these parts and solved the problem quickly and easily. Lots of Youtube videos to help, and these parts worked perfectly. Great deal and will use again when water softener needs another rebuild.

> 24 hourI found a video on YouTube showing how to replace this (before I ordered). I made sure I got the right one for my tannin remover. It took less than 20 minutes to install with zero experience. Super easy and fixed my leak. If you have a Fleck 5600 that is leaking, give it a go. I also have a Whirlpool softener for hard water treatment, and replacing that head is a relative nightmare compared to the Fleck.

> 24 hourThis does not include 60102-10 piston which is green. Although the picture shows grey the listing is for 60102-10 which is green but then the description says 60102-00 which is grey. They need to fix this. It matters.

> 24 hourI was looking for the assembly with white cap and gray piston, as in the Amazon listing picture. Received piston assembly with black cap and green piston. After some additional research found that these correspond to the part number listed (60102-10), and that I needed 60102-00 for the white cap/gray piston. It seems that the -10 assembly results in 15 min of backwash with Fleck 5600, instead of 10min backwash with -00. Not sure what that does to the system, so Ill probably try to get the -00 assembly. My rating is 4 stars because of the misleading picture.

> 24 hourThe Fleck water softener valve family are the most DIY friendly valves. A multitude of videos exist showing how to rebuild this valve instead of replacing with a new system. If your system is getting to 8-10 years in age it likely needs a rebuild since nothing lasts forever especially the rubber seals. Standard tools are all you need to get like new performance. It is important to make sure you get the right piston to match your existing one. Read the description and look at the pictures.
