Flexible Heat Resistant Silicone Rubber Sheeting, High Temp,Smooth Finish, Red 1/8 by 12 by 12 inch

I am using this on my home made heated bed on a 3d printer. Heat up times are vastly quicker than the dc bed.

I was hoping for a true red color, this is definitely more of an orange brick type of red.

It’s doing what it should do.

Came rolled fairly tightly and now wont lay flat. Otherwise would have been 5 stars from me.

Color was not as in the pic had to send back. More orange red.

The silicone pad came rolled up in a tight circle. This means my pad does not sit flat on my heat transfer machine. It sits with either a curve down or up depending on what side I use. There is also a shiner film like surface on one side. Not very nice. It works fine to help increase the pressure on my small bonder but would consider another brand if looking for another sheet.

If youve ever used a brake pressure bleeder then you know youve got to have a perfect seal between the bleeder top and the master cylinder reservoir. Well, there are a number of master cylinder reservoirs out there (re: Wilwood) that no bleeder top exists for, and since many of the cars that come through our shop have Wilwood brake systems we decided to make our own custom bleeder top, and the silicone sheet was used to make the gasket. It works perfectly and since its silicone the brake fluid wont eat destroy it. I also liked the variety of size choices they had available, it made finding what we needed much easier.

This product has no adhesive backing, so stickiness is not actually rated, but the Amazon system doesnt understand how to deal with that.. This is a high quality silicone rubber product. Very heat resistant, which is what I needed. I held a soldering pencil against the surface, set a7 700°F, and it does not mar the surface of the rubber. Thickness is a uniform 1/8 as specified. Excellent stuff, everything I expected, and a reasonable price as well.
