> 3 dayThe brackets no doubt have vertical strength but lack horizontal or torsional strength. Could someone please give me a real piece of metal for the price? And what holds the shelf to the bracket? A 3/4 inch nylon (or similar) Velcro band that doesn’t even get near as tight as I want. Yes, it’s hours faster than building your own, no, it’s not better than you could do if you put some time in.

> 3 dayThese seem pretty sturdy and so does the included hardware, which seems rare these days. Also comes with a template and a built in level for quick installation. I’m happy overall

Greater than one weekTheyre great, theyre sturdy, but I have two big criticisms.: 1) the grate size is way too big. You cant put stuff youd normally expect to find in a garage on there like spraypaint sized cans or really anything that is smaller than gallon paint bucket. I really wish there was something I could buy to put over the top, like a sheet of metal that was the same color. I ended up buying plywood and cutting it and zip tying it down to the grates but its hardly aesthetically pleasing. 2) two templates would made this much easier. Then you can tape up the template to the wall and attach right on top.

> 3 dayI needed wall shelves for smaller items in the garage. I was able to installed them in 16 in spacing studs. I left about 15 in spacing from each shelve vertically. The lowest shelve measured at around 6ft tall. It cleared my mid size suv from the doors opening and hitting the shelves. I am very pleased with the shelves; sturdy, heavy duty, flexible positions, with sturdy screws for heavy weight.

> 3 dayVery happy with this product. The shelves, brackets, and even the screws are very sturdy and well made. The directions were easy to follow and even in the language I speak!! Even though this product was recommended for garage use we installed it in our laundry/craft room and it looks and works fine. The only thing I dont love are the black Velcro-type straps that secure the shelves to the brackets. They work fine, but arent :esthetically pleasing. Some white zip ties are an easy fix however.

> 3 dayI got 2 sets of two. I installed all 4 into the garage wall studs in about an hour. They are well made, and solid. I might get another set of 2. I like them.

Greater than one weekGreat way to store those seasonal items, that were taking up room on the floor! It was easy to install, with a template to use. The only reason I gave it a 4 star, was bc I wish it would have been a little wider for those black Home Depot bins. But overall, I love it and thinking of getting more!

> 3 dayI installed in the garage the HyLoft before and thought I try those ones for the laundry room. Installation is the same as before, check where the studs are and mark your drill points, drill and screw in. I do not like the movement of the shelf base. They added some Velcro bands to fix it in place but that’s not an elegant solution. The HyLoft have a clip at the back which is not really visible (so better than those ones here). Beside that they are strong enough and do the job.

> 3 dayI was pleasantly surprised with this product! Usually I feel things like this are a little cludgy to assemble for no good reason. This product is very straight forward to assemble for an aspiring DIYer with limited tools and experience. You can assemble with minimal attention to the directions which are minimal in a good way. Mounting template provided was entirely helpful and to the point. Word of the wise, if you are driving the provided lag bolts into studs and not using the anchors like I did, I can assure you a wrench as they recommend in tools needed will not do the job. I used a drill with a socket adaption so I could drive the 1/2” bolts into the studs, keeping in mind the screws are not threaded so screwdriving is not applicable. Even the corded drill was out of breath so when its torque wasn’t finishing the job I used a socket wrench to tighten everything up. Really the best option is to use an impact gun, most especially if these shelves were being fastened to a concrete surface. I did not have one of those but it was recommended by a friend who is more experienced. 5 stars for ease of installation and utility. With these shelves fastened in studs I’m confident they won’t buckle under weight. I’m using them in a laundry room so it won’t bear excessive weight anyway. I love how much more storage space I now have from mounting these. I highly recommend!
