I like this turntable. It is well built and looks nice. The setup process was nice and smooth. The auto on/off feature is nice. I am not an expert in turn tables, so I cant make a lot of comparisons. After more research I wish I had spent just a little more money on an upgraded model, but I still think this is a really good value for my needs just starting out.

Absolutely gorgeous turntable. Fluance may be known for their speakers but this turntable is nothing to shy away from. Quality built and easy to setup if follow directions. Video also available on line for convenience. Sound is superb with the Audio Technica cartridge. Purchase the RT81 over the lower unit and you will not be sorry. Have really enjoyed listening to vinyl once again after almost 25 plus years and this unit has only enhanced that enjoyment once again. Ready to head home and listen some more. Thanks Fluance!

Nicely crafted turntable was easy to assemble and works great! Nice shutoff feature at the end of the album. Overall great value.

What I like most is the sound reproduction is excellent however there is way too much feedback from the preamp so I had to turn that feature off. Overall I do like the turntable.

Got this to replace a entry model AT, what a difference, im by no means an expert, I just like good music to...well, sound good. I have this turntable with a Sony receiver and a pair of Klipsch R-15M speakers, which i must add are also amazing. Build quality is really good, looks cool, which is really important :-) this thing is also packaged extremely well. Getting into vinyl? Get into this turntable!

Its a solid product, it works, and with the tone arm properly balanced, it plays albums just fine, with clear audio fidelity. The installation and tone arm balancing instructions are straight-forward. So far, so good. I happen to be bypassing the internal pre-amp and using a good external tube amp, the output of which is going into the MP3 input to my main receiver, because the CD input is being used, and my receiver has no other auxiliary inputs. The set-up seems to work just fine.

Just got back into records and didn’t want to spend a lot of money. That being said, of course I wanted it to sound awesome.. well I was pleasantly surprised!! The Rt81 is well made and sounds great for under 300 dollars. The best thing is it is upgradable by adding more expensive cartridges for better sound, down the road. I am having a blast playing my old records!!!

Easy to assemble. Great sound. Bring your old albums alive.
