> 3 dayMy hermit crabs enjoy bathing in this pool. We use it for freshwater and all of my crabs can easily enter and exit it. We do have a sponge in one corner for our very tiny crab to assist them.

> 3 dayI wanted something I could stick in the corner of my reptile terrariums (2). The positives are that it is deep enough to fit any of my animals (a very young halmahera blue tongue skink and an Australian green tree frog), but low enough for them to reach to drink, climb in or get out if they need to. The first thing that I noticed when these arrived is that they feel like... soft. I expected a hard plastic or cast resin, or something that felt more like a rock. Im not sure what these are made of, but it feels like pretty soft material. I took one and found that I could scratch the material with my fingernail and get stuff coming off. Im not sure how that will impact the quality long term. Im not too concerned, but I think its important to note that you can scratch stuff off of this. The images show a more rocky grey color. I receiving dishes that are more brown. More importantly, I feel like it is important to note that I dont believe it is possible to disinfect these. Whatever material they are poured from is not non-porous. Maybe it is if it doesnt have air bubbles in it, but mine arrived with little tiny holes where there were air bubble pockets. They are ALL OVER. Which to me says that youll never get in those nooks and crannies 100% to ensure that youve gotten out any residual food or waste, applied/rinsed any cleaner or disinfectant completely. As I am only intending on using it for water, Im probably going to continue using them in the short term. However, if you are looking for something that you can completely disinfect or something you can use for food, this dish is probably not for you.

> 3 dayThis is actually a really neat little dish. Its tough, feels and looks like rock and matches the natural theme in my terrarium. It also holds alot of water so my frogs dont kick it all out while Im at work. At Petsmart or somewhere similiar these go for more than double the price so actually Im pretty pleased with this thing. Thats why I took time out of my day to write a review on a rock water dish lol. Ill be buying a couple more actually.
