Ive been purchasing this bulb from Flukers for quite some time now, and Ive never been let down by it so far. The bulb has a long life, throws off good heat, and offers bright light for my chameleons large cage. I most certainly reccomend this product as a cheap and viable option against other heat lamp bulbs!

Great light. On time. Works better than one from Petland and way more cost efficient!

After seeing a lot of reviews talk about their bulbs burning out too quickly, I was a bit nervous to try this bulb out. However, mine lasted 10 months and it was perfect for my crested gecko. I highly recommend people to buy a 40-watt bulb for their cresties. The terrarium stayed at a nice room temperature (71-76 degrees Fahrenheit), and never gets too hot. Though, I also live farther up north where its colder, so keep that in mind.

Great so far. Couldve been packaged better....I thought for sure it would be broken...60 watt blue... I use during the day. Seems the right wattage for my young ball python in a 10 gal tank with screen top. As Secondary heat....And I have a UTH (under tank heater) plugged into a thermostat for safety. I hang this bulb (in a dome reflector) above tank on warm side ...and I move it up and/or down according to thermometer and temp gun readings...

    Good

Fluker"s incandescent light bulbs provide the radiant heat (infrared light) that reptiles need. Reptiles are ectothermic and depend on their environmental temperature to regulate their core body temperature. If a reptile is not provided an appropriate environmental temperature  range (ETR), it may be predisposed to chronic infections. Because ETR"s vary from species to species, ask your pet professional or review available literature for guidance in determining the appropriate ETR for your pet.
