My filter was very noisy and I thought maybe I had a pinhole in these lines. It ended up being my impeller and other associated parts that needed to placed. But its nice to have these hoses on hand in case I need to replace them.

Works great with my Fluval 306. Had to replace my old ones only because I couldnt get them whole hose cleaned out and after a couple of years figured I would just replace them. Otherwise they would have lasted for years longer.

Purchased this in January 2015. I keep a spare around for unforeseen accidents and replace the seals and hoses on the filter yearly as preventive maintenance. I installed this purchase on the 23rd of December 2015. Fits the 306 like it came from the factory.

I have a Fluval canister filter 407 and it is highly recommended to have at least one of those ready just in case. I bought the UV in-line sterilization and I had to use a new hose cause I could not make it fit in the old one after having it installed. At least I recommend to change the hose every six months, I rather have a new one than cleaning and scrubbing the old ones; you can never get free of all the debris inside it, or any day the rubbers will loose the tightness. A new one is a peace of mind and it makes the filter work better

I think Hagaen/Fluval makes great products. I just replaced my hose on my Fluval 405 after exactly one year of use. Really only because I recently purchased a spray bar(Fluval) and a Surface Skimmer(fluval) and from my original install i had cut the tubing too short for optimal operation. Now ive added the extra inches i needed and everything is running tip top shape. Good product, good manufacturer, Great Amazon service and all.
