Fluval Ribbed Hosing for 306/307 - 406/407 9.8Ft A20015

Purchased this in January 2015. I keep a spare around for unforeseen accidents and replace the seals and hoses on the filter yearly as preventive maintenance. I installed this purchase on the 23rd of December 2015. Fits the 306 like it came from the factory.

Like the product. Use on my fish tank water filter.

After connecting the hoses to my filter system I got it primed and noticed water pouring out behind my tank. Come to find out that one of the hoses was not sealed at one of the rubber ends where the rubber is connected to the hose. Ended up having to cut and splice to get it to work

Was able to cut to size. Needed the rubber ends. I wish they made a cover for these as my cat tries to climb up the back of tank and puts holes in it

Did what I need it to do, and fit what I needed it to fit.

I have a Fluval canister filter 407 and it is highly recommended to have at least one of those ready just in case. I bought the UV in-line sterilization and I had to use a new hose cause I could not make it fit in the old one after having it installed. At least I recommend to change the hose every six months, I rather have a new one than cleaning and scrubbing the old ones; you can never get free of all the debris inside it, or any day the rubbers will loose the tightness. A new one is a peace of mind and it makes the filter work better

you get what you pay for, I tried to use a clear hose replacement recommended online and it did not work. returned it and got this, and set up was a snap. bought it for a new tank set up, a 306 fluval with a 30 gallon tank for a turtle.
