Fluval Rubber Adapter for Ribbed Hosing, 304, 305, 404, 405 (2 Pieces)

I used these to install an in-line co2 reactor. I didnt realize I needed them at first, so I was frustrated that I had to buy something else. Once they arrived, they were easy to install and leak proof a week and going. I can confirm these work for the hose that comes with the newer 307 filters. I used one for the co2 reactor and one on the filter valve itself. They fit perfectly for both. Edit: two years and a move across town later and these have still never leaked.

As someone else said, if its not clear where/what these parts fit, heres a photo of them installed on a Fluval 305, connecting the tubing to the intake and outflow components in the aquarium. These light-grey pieces were a perfect replacement for the old black couplers (one of which Im holding in the photo, for comparison).

worked as advertised. I just wish I could get them in black.

The adaptors fit perfectly and were exactly what I needed to install the UV sterilizer which I had purchased. However, why in the world are they white? The hose is black as are all of the other part included with the Filter, it makes no sense. They stand out Like a sore thumb at the back of the aquarium.

Work fine for what they are made to do. My only complaint is how long these should last, I feel like they should go longer than 18 months. I get that an aquarium is probably a harsh environment for rubber, but these arent moving parts.

Put it to use as soon as it arrived.

This product came as described. Made tank freshen easy and painless as everything fit as it should. Better price than local pet store.
