This fan features rechargeable batteries and a remote control. The remote stores in its own compartment on the top of the base and cannot fall out when the fan is its 8” x 4.5” hockey-puck folded position. The product includes a USB-A to USB-C charging cord but no charging block. A battery is included for the remote. The fan has a telescoping tube that is infinitely adjustable to 50 inches. The fan head is vertically adjustable. The fan has multiple speeds and the highest speed caused my son’s hair to blow at 4’ away. The fan is quiet, and of course becomes more quiet at lower speeds. Amazingly, the fan also can oscillate from side to side. It is actually the base that moves, like a turntable. Clever! The product has a nightlight built into the base that can be activated with the remote, as can all of the fan’s electric features, including oscillation. If the remote is lost, the fan and light can be controlled by two buttons on the upper surface of the base, next to four illuminated charging indicators. I ordered this fan for my son’s football camp that is held at a college. The football players stay in dorm rooms that are not air-conditioned and a fan is a necessity. This fan is perfect. It will charge during the day while the kids are on the field, then in the evening and throughout the night it will cool them. As a bonus, it’s small size will allow it to fit in my son’s football bag and there will be no extension cords to trip over at night in an unfamiliar dorm room. I am delighted I ordered it, and my son will be pleased too. That is, as pleased as a teenage boy can be over a fan.

It folds up small, but can get tall. It’s quiet, but moves a ton of air. It can be usb powered, or cordless. It has a remote and it makes cute beeps. It can be stationary or oscillate, and the whole machine rotates from the base when it oscillates, so it looks really cool. Mine’s in my kitchen, and it’s my new best friend. I’m definitely never traveling without it. I wish I could give it more than five stars! I love it.

UPDATE 5/13/2023 - We had another power outage last night. I could not believe my foresight picking up this fan just for this eventuality. I ran smoothly and quietly for about seven hours, keeping me cool on a warm-ish Texas evening. The only issue I ran into was that, every now and then, part of the fan made a slight rattling sound. Id have to press and squeeze the plastic cage to make it stop. If it happens next time, I may try putting some tape on it to stop the vibration. Overall, though, thats a minor issue. Very happy I have this fan around!!! What I like: - Adjustable height up to about three feet. Great height. - Folds up into a nice compact bundle. - Remote has a little storage niche inside the unit when folded up. No losing it! - Moves a good quantity of air. - Reasonably attractive. What I dont like: - Doesnt come with a carrying case or bag to protect it when traveling. - Noisy. But its a fan, so.... Im very happy with this little fan. I decided to pick it up when the electricity went out for nearly 12 hours recently due to a lightning storm. Its still cool in central Texas, so it didnt get too hot in the house. But I realized if this happens during the summer, itd get miserable in here quickly. I feel good knowing Ive got a rechargeable fan ready to go. RECOMMENDED.

This is one of those clever little portable gadgets that you didnt know you needed until you had it! I thought Id only use this while camping, which its great for, but this is a nice all around fan. I was pleasantly surprised to plug it in with the included USB-C to USB-A and had to use my own power supply, but Im now using this in the house on hot summer days. Its quiet and doesnt take up much space. Super cool that it includes a small light on the base, and oscillates, and has a timer which I havent tried yet - and a remote control! Its small and light to carry around so I brought it out to my hot garage to keep me cool while working on my car! The only trick I had to discover since I didnt read directions is once the pole is extended it will tip forward until you learn to screw down the plastic white cylinder at the base of the pole so it becomes fixed in place. I could write a lot more about this gadget, but Ill just end by saying it was thoughtfully designed and Im a Koonie fan now!

This is not my first Koonie fan. I have a year of use with a previous 8 black Koonie fan that I use year-round. Yes, Im that crazy person with the window open and the fan going when its 60 degrees out. I really rely on my fans and I can honestly attest to this fan being a winner. I usually leave mine plugged in all the time (usb-c) but there have been many times, including yesterday, that I put it on battery. The battery lasts for 7-8 hours if you leave the fan on speed 1. Obviously you get less time on higher speeds. They do charge as you use them, thankfully, so you can really use this fan all the time (which I do, night and day). The air flow on this fan is FABULOUS. Even speed 1 is excellent to cool you down. You can also fold this up and tuck it away somewhere very easily. Be sure when you take it out for use that you rotate the cylinder around the stand (at the bottom) to lock it when you are using it or it will fall over. There is one thing thats really important for you to know, that concerns all of these smaller size fans, not just this brand. Now, Im not some kind of air flow/hvac/ventilation expert, but I do know that in hotter rooms you might get what Ive heard called an air lock. Youll know this is happening because the fan will be spinning and seem to be fine but you wont feel any air from it. I thought my first 8 fan was broken because of this and sent it back. oops. Its not broken, you just have to break that lock. Take the fan by its stand with the fan facing you and dip it back and forth from vertical to horizonal and vertical again until the air starts flowing again. Trust me youll know because the sound changes and the air flow is magnificent. I dont know why it happens, or that it will happen to you at all, but this room gets up to 80 degrees during the day and it always happens when the room is hotter and never when the room is below 77 degrees. I HIGHLY recommend these fans if you are looking for this size. Has remote, has light, oscillates beautifully without changing position on the table if you use it table-top, and just has such good air flow. You wont be disappointed.

This little portable convenient fan is everything for me. It comes with a remote control. It has the option to spin or not spin. It also has three different power levels. There is a really great breeze on each level. As long as you charge this fan up for at least eight hours you will have a full 35 hour charge without having to recharge this fan, which makes it really convenient and it’s also really lightweight. But it does come already charged. But I would not recommend using it until you have a full charge to get the most benefits of it. Its not too heavy to carry and move around. This is a really good fan to have at the barbecues. Oh yeah and it also can adjust to different height levels. I definitely recommend this product.

In terms of portable cooling, the Koonie Foldaway Fan is revolutionary. Its ideal for use at home, when camping, fishing, or traveling because of its collapsible shape and up to 50 hours of battery life. Four speed settings are available on the remote control, and the adjustable height feature enables flexible airflow. It stands out because it runs incredibly quietly, even at high speeds. It offers flexibility by being powered by batteries or a USB port. It mixes in perfectly with any setting thanks to its modern white style. Overall, the Koonie Foldaway Fan lives up to its billing and is a dependable travel companion for keeping cool and rested.

This fan is meant to be for individuals in a small area not in a big building or warehouse. It is probably the best small fan I have ever seen in my life. The description says it extends to 42 inches and I could not get it higher than 36. I am not counting to the top head of the fan so if I was supposed to do that way then yes, it would be 41 or 42 inches. I love the oscillation. It is slow and 90 degrees. Even when the fan is at its highest speed the oscillation is still the same speed. The power of the out put is high in speed (it sounds that way) and more air blows (can see it blowing paper or someones hair) but it is not strong like those big floor fans nor the old fans of the 1950s. They arent quiet like this one is. You can actually hear yourself think, and the person speaking next to you. It does have a cheesy looking remote but it works fine nonetheless. You find it inside of the fan when you unfold it. Like I said, this is by far the best small fan I have ever seen and because of that I recommend this to everyone.
