Folkmanis Turtleneck Turtle Hand Puppet

I am fairly satisfied with my purchase. I purchased the puppet to teach a cool down technique in my PK classroom. When the puppet arrived at my home, the bottom part of its mouth was bent down, not at all like pictured. I do not know it it was a manufacturing defect or just that it had been packaged and shipped poorly. I could not return it, because it knew I would not be able to receive a replacement in time to teach my lesson. So I guess that I am stuck with it. On a positve note the children enjoyed both the lesson and the puppet. Though I still wish I could get a replacement as I plan to use the puppet in the years to come.

Loved this product. Exactly what I wanted. Bought it for a gift and it was well received. I did think it was a little expensive.

I bought this for my friends 7 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She sleeps with it, takes it school, never puts it down. In this age of high-tech gadgetry and gift cards, its great to know that the simple traditional toys are still the best.

Best puppets ever. I only buy Folkmantis puppets now. I’m a teacher but currently a stay at home mom. These puppets are sturdy enough for a classroom but also a luxurious addition to your toys at home.

I am a big fan of Folkmanis puppets, and thought this one was a cute idea and looked adorable. My only complaint about it is that its really difficult to tuck the head into the shell. I have the Galapagos tortoise puppet as well and that one is a lot easier to manipulate. I also think the felt material on this one will quickly get worn.

Great puppet for young and old. Move moves easily and front hands. Head comes in and out easily. Ive purchased many other folkmanis puppet and this and the owl are a great find.

I am a teacher and my turtle “friend” has been an important socio-emotional tool for this challenging school year. My students find “Taylor” lifelike and believable and a true friend.

I bought this puppet and a few others for my two daughters ages 4 & 2 for Christmas. I have to say that this is their favorite. It is very well built and they love it. They have even taken it to school to show their friends and all the kids wanted to play with it. Great toy!
