This is the best Turtle puppet you can have! It is adorable, with TONS of personality. A small adult hand fits great inside. You hand will work the mount and one arm. To make both the mouth and 2 arms you will need to put both arms of yours inside the turtle. He is SOOOOOO adorable and funny and looks fantastic! I am SUPER happy with it! He is so detailed and moves great that anyone will have alot of fun watching or making it talk!!!

The Turtleneck Turtle has loads of personality and charm. It fits my adult male hand so Im easily able to manipulate the mouth and both arms. It is soft, sturdy, and very snuggly. Unfortunately, vinyl shell layer peals off the fabric because the glue holding it degrades. Mine started to fail after two years, during which time the turtle had nightly snuggles, frequent adventures, and even some world travel. In another two years of gentle handling, the fragile vinyl tore where it had separated, making the problem worse. After two more years with no use the shell degraded and fell off on its own. I bought mine in mid 2013, so maybe Folkmanis has improved the glue or vinyl over the years. They really should have used cloth instead of vinyl for the shell. If youre crafty, I recommend sewing on a proper cloth shell as soon as you get this. I plan to do this to mine. I encourage you to buy the Turtleneck Turtle for anyone in your life who would enjoy his expressive and good natured personality. Just know that the shell may be fragile and the glue may fail like it did on mine.

Bought this puppet for my teenage daughter who loves turtles when she got her tonsils out. He is a huge hit. The knit turtleneck on this puppet is so cute. You can even pull the neck and front feet into the shell! If you are a turtle lover you need to own this guy.

Boys loved it a lot

I bought this because I had a class and was given a print out story for the children focusing on good behavior. The web site recommended this puppet to be used along with the Tucker turtle story. The children love Tucker turtle. They hug and kiss him.

I am fairly satisfied with my purchase. I purchased the puppet to teach a cool down technique in my PK classroom. When the puppet arrived at my home, the bottom part of its mouth was bent down, not at all like pictured. I do not know it it was a manufacturing defect or just that it had been packaged and shipped poorly. I could not return it, because it knew I would not be able to receive a replacement in time to teach my lesson. So I guess that I am stuck with it. On a positve note the children enjoyed both the lesson and the puppet. Though I still wish I could get a replacement as I plan to use the puppet in the years to come.

Purchased for daughter to play with her granddaughter

I got this for my son and he can’t move the hands. He is younger and it is a hand puppet but it is not stopping him from moving the mouth and head. It is a blast for him to dabble in ventriloquism with.

very nice puppet but had hard time holding fingers and head at same time. Perhaps its just because the front flippers need to be so low down. I It did however , seem helpful in my story. Thanks Sylvia Fisher
