Took nearly 3 hours to do this job took my time. worked perfect at first, now I have dead spots all over the screen making it almost useless to use. Too much trouble to remove digitizer and send back. The co sent me a second one. It has a 3/4 inch dead spot right down the middle of the screen, The manufacture needs a QC system. Spend more and get one that works.

It works. It just take time to peel off the adhesive tape. In other words, it compresses nicely.

It was NOT easy to install. I had to watch several YouTube videos for help. The suction cup was worthless... but that may be because the screen was shattered so badly that it didn’t have a flat part to stick to. Lots of scraping of glass and tiny shards flying everywhere...use eye protection! I also had to attach, detach and reattach the connectors multiple times before the touch screen worked completely, but once I got it right, it’s been working well ever since. It was rough, but I’m proud of myself for being able to change the screen on my own.

The touch doesn’t work in the center of the screen and the adhesive is not strong enough to keep the screen down. It keep lifting up around the edges. I clean off the old adhesive from off the surface before installing so I am sure it’s not lifting because of the the dirt on the surface. The Touch ID does not work and I found out that after disposing of the original one. This was a waste of money and my time. I was better off using the broken screen.

We bought this to fix my daughters cracked screen but when putting this new screen on, only the bottom half of the touch screen worked. We tried fixing it several times but nothing worked. We couldn’t use the middle or top of the screen so we assumed it was us who messed up the tablet. But then when we reapplied the old cracked screen it worked perfectly fine. This new screen had faulty wiring and caused such a pain! Please save your money!
