Freud DHS17SPL Bi-Metal Plumbing Set (17 Piece)

Wonderful set! I use these regularly to drill holes for plumbing and new light fixtures. Best value in the set rather than buying individually. I anticipate using them for years to come.

Was looking for a case for all my hole saw bits, and ended up just buying this complete set. It has all of the correct sizes for my trade, and the cut very well. The core ejection is probably one of the best features! I also like that it comes with extra adapters in order to continue to utilize my older hole saws. Great product! Well done Diablo! After years fumbling through all my mismatched hole saw bits I finally got me this set. Wish I had years ago. The bits themselves are very sharp and I can see them lasting a long time, cuts right though sheet metal and wood like butter so far. The case they come in make it nice and portable and I can keep all of them together. The quick connects are just amazing and make it super easy to switch from bit to bit. Highly recommend. Diablo is made by Freud, a very reputable company

Thought I was getting a 3/8 and 7/16” mandrel but I got two 7/16”. Please send me a 3/8” mandrel. The 1 picture on add is poor and no description of the mandrels.

Diablos quick connect chucks make changing bits very easy, this was the number one thing that led me to buy this set. There is no fumbling around trying to loosen the bit and not cut yourself while juggling a wrench and screwdriver etc. They are good quality will cut wood/plastic/mdf etc forever, metal you have to keep them cool and you will wear them out like anything else. The case has extra space to expand the set, I bought a few extra pieces to fill in the missing bits below 1 inch. They fit in the case just fine. It also has an adapter that allows you to use other holesaws with the quick connect chuck. You do have to thread them in and out, but this could help utilize holesaws that are not diablo. It does skip some sizes, the design of the Diablo hole saws does not lend itself to stacking inside the case, so it does take up a lot of real estate per bit. That being said the main attraction is the ease of use by having the permanent hex to tie into.
