> 3 daySo my husband - god love him - one of the chores he has is trash. That includes pulling food from the fridge that needs to go. We brought home some left over sushi and it sat. About three weeks go by and I tell him he needs to get it out of the house even if its just putting it in a bag. Doesnt happen. By week 5 my fridge REEKS of god knows what combination of smells. It prompts him very swiftly to purge the fridge of anything out of date that could be contributing to the smell. We live in FL and so shutting the fridge down for a deep clean at the beginning of summer is the worst idea. I try baking soda in a bowl, shaking it every time I open the fridge. I ended up googling ways to purge the smell without having to shut it down and found the recommendation for activated charcoal. So off to Amazon I go. I found these and I liked the compact size with the and rush order a set. I would say with in a matter of a day or two the smell was gone. My fridge had no smells what so ever. And the fact that I can take them out, set them on the window seal for some sun time to help keep it going is great. Easily hands down one of my best buys on Amazon to date. And as things go - I may buy more just to help with rooms with smells.

> 3 dayIm sure this is a good product but the odor I have in my refrigerator is still there. I have cleaned the entire interior, but the odor remains. I will be trying an ionizer and hope it does the trick. From what I have read about some odors, is that it can seep into the plastic and become almost impossible to remove.

> 3 dayI do think this product helped. I had a sour smell in my refrigerator. I cleaned it with baking soda, vinegar, and eventually with clorox. I recharged these after cleaning with the clorox so I am not sure which was the final solution. However, I am keeping them in my fridge now and no odor. I would reorder. Just remember to recharge them in the sun.

> 3 dayI bought this because the box of baking soda wasnt doing the trick at keeping food odors under control. Our previous fridge had an air filter (replaced every 6 months), so I had forgotten how quickly some foods can stink up the inside. We placed the packs outside in the sun, then brought them in that evening and put them in the fridge and freezer compartments. By morning, there was absolutely NO smell in either. Its been about a month and they are both keeping our refrigerator/freezer odor free.

22-11-2024This thing WORKS! No more odors slapping you when you open the refrigerator door. No funny tasting ice making your beverage taste icky. And best of all, it cant spill like that box of baking soda is prone to doing. Actually, best of all is that this works BETTER than baking soda. I am very impressed.
