Great hardshell for my psp fits perfectly!! A+ to the construction

The fit and finish of this faceplate is bad. I expected it to be a little different as it’s a third party item. But it was way off and it interfered with my ability to use the buttons. I returned it.

For a psp goer, I had some cosmetic scratches and things that bugged me for quite some time. This replacement is quite satisfying, it took a bit to screw a bunch of tiny screws and ensure all buttons aligned and what not. The hole for the square button is a bit too big and along the edge it is not fully sealed back up even with pressure and the screws on tight. Overall Im happy that i dont have a screen which is cracked or scratched but it isnt the most absolute perfect fit.

Its not bad for the price. obviously it is not the same as the original and you will able to tell right away bjt its pretty close. the most noticeable thing is that the screen is attached to the plate like newer models of the psp. Also, the holes of where you see the lights On and Off are not plugged. The other holes that look like they were for the speakers are plugged but the original had them but the psp 1000 didnt have speakers in that location. Last, I struggled a little to put one screw because it wasnt centered in the right spot but I managed to put it in. Overall, its way better than the crap you get on ebay and the psp looks like new.

Fitment is bad due to poor cleaning of extra plastic,also the bottom middle screw point was broken or incompletely molded so the faceplate doesnt actually get held down correctly. Big gap between the faceplate and the actual device, and also the holes for the buttons are oversized,careful getting lint in there and ruining your screen or short circuiting the mother board.

Worked as expected. I watched a youtube video on how to change the faceplate. Restored my old PSP to like new. Now if only I could find some decent batteries.

To replace current faceplate

Fits great on my psp it was a perfect fit.

Everything swapped over and fit nicely without modification on my psp-1001. A little tight but it snapped on and the screws pulled it together. Has all decals, and the bottom screw hole is there. You have to push a little hard to get the screws started, but it looks nice and works well for a cheap reproduction.

My original PSP 1000 had a cracked & scratched up faceplate, and this was a cheap and fast replacement. Its not the exact same. The screen is technically a separate piece from the rest of the shell, unlike the flush original version. The textured bit above the screen is also slightly different. That said, it still fits great on my 1001 and looks 90% the same.
