Funny Birthday Gold Glitter Banner – Birthday and Retirement Party Supplies, Ideas, Gifts and Decorations

This product arrived and at first looked well-packaged. The letters were stacked neatly and the string was wound tightly around them. But when I unraveled the string, the end R fell off and I quickly realized none of the letters were connect to the string, basically the string was just strung through the holes but not attached! I was trying to hang the banner quickly for the person whos birthday it was and it took me a very long time to figure out the best way to hang it. I had to use scotch tape (which was visible over the gold of the lettering) and tape the string to each letter. THEN - the I and the V in LIVES were in the wrong order! But I didnt notice until Id already taped the string to the other letters and didnt have time to go back so I had to bunch them up and switch their order as best I could. BOTTOM LINE - it was a disaster. When a simple birthday banner should have just unfolded into the right order with letters in tact, this one was basically meant to assemble yourself. So I felt the joke fell flat because by time I hung it and the person saw it, the I and the V were basically stuck together and the funny became an explanation.
