Would have liked the gate be a bit tighter but will work for what I need.

These are great. We use them for all sorts of things, keys, tie down point in the cargo area of our van or connecting multiple tubes while on the river.

I cant really say for sure about durability, because I should have them for 10 years to know how durable they are, but they certainly seem to be well made and I imagine, and hope they will last a long time. Now I just need to find a source for a larger size with the same strength rating, some hammocks have really thick mount points and wont fit through the opening with enough space for the little latch to close after them.

I have been using these carabiners for a backyard hammock swing and they have supported over 200 lbs without any issues at all. I havent pushed them to their max, but they work perfect for me and my family and I feel safe using them.
