I just reordered my second umbrella of this kind, my last one lasted me 4 years of regular use. It didnt get stuck, didnt break. In general this is a very solid, well made umbrella.

This umbrella is defective. It folds inside out because the ribs are installed incorrectly.

Mother loved this gift! It is surprisingly well constructed. She keeps it in the car and uses it for the sun or rain while in Florida.

Well made and quite large when opened. I have bought 3 of these umbrellas for myself and gifts. The artwork and other designs are wonderful. Do wish they had an auto open button though.

I tend to select most items for the wife because I am a analysis at work, so when it came to this, she wanted Monet (kind of like Artist specials), so this was the one. She absolutely loves it. You decide, but we are very satisfied. I tend to grade harder than most, so see my opinions. Hope this helps.

This umbrella is beautiful, works very well (even on windy days) and opens quickly with the press of a button. Closing not quite as effortless, but certainly not difficult (I expected it to retract to small size-but you must do this by hand). Not a flaw, just not what I expected. All in all it adds a bit of fun to otherwise gloomy days and seems to be well made.

Works well, but you do have to use a little bit of force to get it closed.

I saw these umbrellas at a museum in Chicago at a much higher price plus tax at about 10%. No tax in N H, so a great buy. They are quite large but collapse very nicely for carrying. OMG. Love them. Bought several for my nieces and a friend who took me to Chicago for my birthday. I got 2 Monet and 2 VanGogh.

The Monet exhibit came to my city a long time ago... and was one of the things Mom and I did together.. She bought the Secret Gardens umbrella there years ago and of all of her collection of Brollies was her favorite. It broke about 3 years ago and I had been looking ever since for an acceptable replacement.. This is a very nice bumbershoot, and I really like the fiberglass design.. far less risk of her cutting her paper thin skin on metal, and it feels a lot more flexible and sturdy. This model is also a very pleasing print, and is larger than her previous one.. It is almost enough for 2 people. I also like the fact it is both auto open and with a second press will close the canopy with a snap.. then all you have to do is push it back together to collapse it. Thank you so much.. I just wanted to give her something nice she would enjoy and actually needed. Con... I was minor disappointed that this particular purchase comes without a matching sleeve, but she said it is OK and probably would never use it anyway.. so it is alright.. Namaste... Au.
