Galleria Enterprises Water Lilies Folding Umbrella Blue

What drew me to this umbrella immediately was the gorgeous painting on it. But it turned out to also be a surprisingly durable umbrella. Ive had compact collapsible umbrellas before that couldnt withstand any degree of wind. This one manages to stay intact in the face of pretty strong wind while also collapsing to be just 12 inches long--very portable. The pop-out, pop-in button is pretty cool, too. The one thing I dont like is how hard you have to push to collapse the umbrella all the way back in. Its definitely doable, but its more effort than would be ideal.

I combed Amazon for a high-quality umbrella that got good customer reviews, and settled on this one. At first, I liked it a lot, and even got several compliments on it. But after less than a year of not-that-frequent use (perhaps once or twice a month), three of the unbreakable fiberglass ribs of this umbrella broke and detached from the fabric! It was not even a remarkably windy day when this happened. I am very disappointed with this umbrella that proved not nearly as sturdy as other reviewers indicated.

Bought this beautiful umbrella as a gift for my Mom--she loves anything with Monets water lilies on it. The very first time she pressed the button to open it, it shot out like a flash, and the umbrella did not open properly. UPon close inspection, I could see the plastic piece at the top that the strings go into was slightly broken and the umbrella cannot be used. Quality control missed this one. Sadly, she was so hurt, but didnt want to hurt my feelings, that she didnt tell me right away, so were stuck with a brand new, but broken, umbrella. :( Check your umbrella, or if you give as a gift, ensure your recipient lets you know if theres a problem. Its beautiful--Im so sad. Ive bought other umbrellas from Galleria, but the opening mechanism is a little different--never had this problem.

This umbrella is so pretty that you dont mind when it is raining. Also folds up neatly without those pesky slipovers that always get lost. Good size and is fine in wind.

We bought this for my sons 2nd grade teacher. She loved the colors and the smoothness of the automatic fold out. I had a couple of parents ask where they could buy it. The umbrella has beautiful bright colors and seems to be well made. Id highly recommend.

Ive gotten so many compliments on campus while carrying this thing. The colors are gorgeous. The size is exactly what I was looking for, so that it would cover my backpack as well as myself without being too obnoxiously large. My fourth time using it I did have issues with the umbrella turning inside-out (granted, it was a very windy rain). The auto open/close button is super convenient. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Small enough to have in case of a shower but substaincal enough for a down pour. Nice job and did I mention beautiful?

Beautiful design, well-made. A little bit heavy. Ive never had an instant-close umbrella before --- it IS helpful getting into a car. And I found it (too late) for a lot less money at the local AAA.

I use this as a summer parasol. Used it at the state fair to keep the sun off and I got many compliments from strangers.even a young man in his twenties -- thats saying something.
