Very sturdy, bigger than the regular size that you get from home depot. The rubber handle make it easier to hold and definitely helps to dig deeper than the regular hand shovel.

This is a decent transplanter shovel. Its like something youd find at the gardening center of your local department store. The grip is thick and hard but has a soft covering over it that gives it good grip. It is also pretty ergonomic. The blade is nice and pointy to easily dig out plants and the neck seems sturdy enough. I like that the coating is similar to anodizing rather than painted on as it doesnt scratch or rust easily as far as Ive used it. It would probably take a season of use to see if theres any obvious difference compared to the bare stainless-steel shovels Ive been using for years. There is some manufacturing dangly bits and quite a big gap where the neck inserts into the handle, but it feels sturdy.

Pleasantly surprised! Nice sturdy hand held shovel for gardening. Cheap shovels bend when digging in hard or firm dirt- not this one. Good solid handle and easy to hold. Green and black handle, gold shovel part for ~aesthetic~ gardening. Get a good scoop of soil since its pretty deep and dirt wont constantly fall off. Ready for spring flowers.

I dont have a garden but this works great for planting & maintaining my potted plants. This is a hefty weighted tool and quite sturdy. It has a nice cushioned comprehensive to work with. I recommend this tool.

When I received this weed pulling tool, I was first surprised that is was actually a strong large tool. I was, admittedly, thinking this low cost without a big name would be smaller. I will admit that I am not familiar with how to use the tool but needed one to learn and remove the weeds from the garden. It is supposed to help pull the weeds from the root. The small weeds it may have been to strong or I used it incorrectly because it just ripped the plant off the roots. I tried a bigger weed in the grass and though I had to use some force to get it into the ground, the ground where I live is hard, the tool did not bend or have any trouble. It did rip the root apart but pulled out some of the main root. I think that was just user error. For the price at the time I received the tool, is actually decent. Maybe a little more expensive than some generic or no name brands but it is bigger, stronger and really feels good in the hand. Highly recommend.
