tldr; Theres a lot to like about the trowel and dandelion weeder. Theyre both solid stainless steel and the handles are hard rubberized plastic. However, if youre looking for a tool with a depth ruler, be sure to grab the Transplanter tool; I actually got the two confused and grabbed the trowel, but I like it so much that Im also ordering the Transplanter from Garden Guru as well. Im happy to report that both the trowel and weeders are strong and made short work of our springtime planting today. I recently built a retaining wall and this tool made short work of the backfill, decorative pots, topsoil that we laid. Ive purchased other tools from local large hardware stores that turned out to be chintzy wastes of money -- not so with these; no chance it will break on you. The Dandelion weeder is easy to use and avoids creating potholes. In all, both are solid purchases that Im very happy with. Highly recommend to anyone looking for strong garden tools that wont let you down. Just be sure to check out the Transplanter tool, too, for a good 1-2 setup. (ps sorry if I sound like a fanboi, Im just really happy to have found a quality tool that outperforms all of the local hardware shop options, and for a better price)

Looks to be made well - both with regards to the materials and construction. Nice size grip with indentations for better thumb and finger position. The fork tines are stiff and of good thickness. I added a dollar bill in the photo to give you an estimate of the size of the tool itself. Gets 5 stars from me!

This is a stout garden shovel even though it is thin. But, it is thin to cut through the soil and roots to transplant plants. It isnt overly heavy and doesnt strain my arthritic hands. It is fairly comfortable to hold. I like the measurements on the shovel if I have to be mindful of the depth I am digging. The scoop is narrow, I guess this is because it helps keep from digging up or cutting into the root systems of plants close to the ones you transplant. I am using this hand shovel in my raised veggie garden.

I got the scoop and its a good size, can transfer about a mug full of dirt, great for adding soil to plants. The handle is comfortable to grip and so far the welding shows no sign of weakness. Unfortunately, I tend to be skeptical of a lot of manufacturing claims... cannot attest to the titanium plating on this, but I do not plan on keeping it out in the elements to test how rust resistant it is. The stainless steel is solid and no bending so far with use. I looked up Garden Guru products and they are an established brand here with thousands of reviews, so you can trust their products. Every so often there are a few manufacturing defects, but they have a very good 90 day warranty with no questions asked, which makes me feel confident about purchasing from them. The price and quality of their titanium coated line of products is very comparable to big box garden store tools. I think I will buy a trowel from them for spring gardening this year as well.

This is an AWESOME hand trowel! It is a slender trowel, great for transplanting and for times when a big trowel is just too big. This trowel is made of SUPER STRONG metal! It replaces a trowel that began to bend under repeated use, in particular when used with harder dirt. The handle is also super ergonomic and feels really comfortable in the hand. Ive test this with pre-season digging and it works GREAT! I have no worries about this bending and will clearly stand the test of time. I know this sounds over the top, but this trowel is the BEST IVE SEEN! It really is! It is VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The spade part is engraved with inch and cm increments for soil depth measurement, the handle is formed for a comfortable grip. The quality of this shovel exceeds shovels I have purchased in hardware stores.

This garden spade shovel I expected to be the normal size of others but when I received it I noticed it was a little larger than those. The handle is for larger hands but still comfortable for smaller hands. It doesnt flex like the lighter duty spade shovels I think this will have a long life. I like how their title says super strong and I agree this is a heavy duty garden shovel. One thing Ive noticed is that the gold coating scratches off, not a big deal to me, but it is chrome underneath.

This hand trowel seems to be of similar quality to what I would buy if I saw it in a hardware store. The metal seems to be strong and the handle has a nice comfortable grip. I really like that it has a sharp point, though Im not sure how long that is going to last. So far, it has worked well for ripping open bags of potting soil or prying small stones out of the way when digging. Its a more slender style so its not as good for scooping. I used it for digging out some weeds, prepping my raised beds, and transplanting seedlings, and it worked great for all of those things.

My yard and my lawn are still in their winter mode due to extended rains and freezing temperatures but I am really looking forward to using this tool in my yard. It has a great grip with a nice comfortable spot for my thumb when digging up weeds. Nicely weighted shaft that will power through removal of those stubborn lawn weeds. This is a 5-star product.
