Garmin 010-01674-00 Varia UT 800 Trail Edition Smart Headlight with Helmet Mount

This is a great light but.. the aluminum fins for the go pro mount flex when tightening it. They can break off of over tightened. But it rotates if under tightened. I wish they were knurled for more friction and a stable position.

Ich habe diese Lampe gekauft, weil ich eine Garmin Armbanduhr nutze und über ANT+ wird die Geschwindigkeitsdaten an die Lampe geschickt und damit wird die Helligkeit automatisch angepasst. Leider funktioniert dies nicht so besonders toll und außerdem sieht man damit einer Verkürzung der Brennzeiten. Man darf auch nicht die Taste während dessen nutzen, da ca. 10 Sekunden nach einer manuell Einstellung ist die Lampe wieder in automatischem Modus. Für den Preis heutzutage sind 800 Lumens zu teuer. Außerdem ist die Lampe sehr klein, sie sieht schick aus, aber die Funktionalität zeigt ganz klar, dass sie ein Legacy-Product ist. Auch für Software -Updates braucht man einen ANT+ Dongle- von vergangen Generationen und wurde nicht in den Beschreibungen erwähnt.

Juste parfait

Great light .. only downside is battery life is not optimal. I have a GARMIN 1000 and it paired nicely and does as stated .. controls the light based on light conditions. (Flashing for day light conditions .. steady beam when in darkness or heavy shade .. like a tunnel or thick tree cover.)

Bought thinking it would sync to my Wahoo like it’s sibling taillight Varia 515. The taillight worked great, but this would not work no matter what I tried. Too bad, seemed like a quality product. Very bright.

Muy buena luz, en modo automático la intensidad se adapta para alargar batería, es visible en el día. Bien dicen que la seguridad no tiene precio.

Di fatto non mi è piaciuto perché inutilizzabile se nkn attaccato al casco.

Garmin well done this light is absolutely outstanding,looks neat made out of aluminium and works automatically from your Garmin Edge.But I do wish Garmin would make better aluminium mounts as the plastic one with this is ugly really ugly.
