Garmin 010-02064-00 Instinct, Rugged Outdoor Watch with GPS, Features Glonass and Galileo, Heart Rate Monitoring and 3-Axis Compass, Graphite

I wanted a watch that would provide fitness metrics and notifications from my phone. This watch fit the bill perfectly. Although, it does not look dressy, I personally like the look. The battery life is fantastic, I charge it once every 10 days.

The watch was great, love the rich functionality, it has everything I need. However, after setting up the watch, I discovered to my horror that it wont charge. When plugged in, it will show the charging icon for a few seconds and then stopped. Did all the troubleshooting steps recommended by Garmin but didnt help. So, reluctantly I have to returned it as there is no replacement option for dead on delivery. And I have to arrange the return which Amazons reimbursement does not cover the full freight cost. That is the 2nd disappointment....having 2nd thought about buying electronics from Amazon in the future.

Takes a while to get the hang of the buttons (naming convention not totally intuitive) and User Manual is tricky e.g. the numerous icons arent well documented. However once youve figured your way around it for a couple of days, this is a great watch and my best Garmin so far.

My husband uses this every day. The amount of features are amazing and he loves it.

Love this watch. I had a Samsung galaxy s3 and compared to that this watch is a super watch. I tested the battery life it lasted for 16 straight days of use. Only used it to run for 4 of those days for about 4miles each day. If I run every other day it lasts for about 10 days of heavy use. Notifications are good. Just wish I could respond on the watch but for the price can’t beat it.

Battery life is amazing, I charge it once every 2 weeks. Its got tons of features. I admit the UI is a little clunky given that we live in the era of touch screens, but you get used to it. The watch is rugged, waterproof, and tough, and the milspec look just make it that much cooler. The OEM strap isnt all that comfy, I suggest getting an aftermarket replica strap, Ive noticed they are softer on the skin and more comfy.

arrived before scheduled date. well made, lightweight and rugged but rests great on the wrist. silicon strap is really comfortable. easy to set up the connection to phone app. I would say pretty intuitive. superb item with lots of features and great money for quality and specs balance.
