The watch would not connect or stay connected to my phone. It was useless. Very disappointed. I returned the watch within a week.

Excelente reloj y diseño

This was a gift from my husband who cant run with me but is supporting this 59 year old getting back into running after a couple decades off. I am just thrilled with this watch and all the support Garmin provides both with its product and in its coaching and health tracking AND my husband can track me live when I go out to run alone. There is a learning curve if you have not used a smart watch like this, so many capabilities and functions it takes a while to get them all down to point of using effectively but I have had it a month now and LOVE IT!

I’ve been a huge fan of Garmin for many years. First Garmin was the Forerunner 245 several years ago. In between tried the competition (Withings, Polar) but wasn’t satisfied as they were either lacking in terms of complete overall package or the ecosystem wasn’t as well rounded. Started to get back in more active lifestyle and the integration of Garmin connect with more 3rd party apps (Strava, Zwift), I started to look to return to Garmin.

My Garmin 955 has been an incredible asset for improving my health, montoring my well being and allowing me to customize the data and information I want to get at my arm for viewing. My running and biking reports are wonderfully helpful and sharing the information for friends and relatives has been a lovely social benefit.

Great for running

Everything looks different and for better with the 955 Solar version. Im loving it. I was used to the 945 for 2 years, but they made even better in the 955.

Loved the Forerunner 245 Music and went away for a bit, and now back with the Forerunner 955 and love it. This will be my main watch now for a good while, and I also have a COROS Pace 2 for some of its data/app on the way to just use while working out on my second wrist. If I had one con of the 955, it’s that it’s not bright. I’m used to the venu 2 and Apple Watch though, so I understand that this is not trying to be that, but rather, a hardcore workout watch.
