Garmin AMPS Rugged Mount with Audio and Power for Montana 600 Series (010-11654-01)

Tonight I installed my RAM mount and AMPS charging cradle for my Garmin Monterra GPS... Id highly recommend RAM mounts, made of high quality aircraft aluminum and stainless steel components in the USA (not Chinese junk). The cradle grabs the GPS and locks it in securely. No need to use the added security lock provided. I recommend wiring you hot wire to an ignition controlled circuit to avoid draining your battery.... Also recommend running the ground wire to the battery ground post for a quality grounding point. The three small wires are for a serial data connection and Im at a loss for what you would use them for or what youd hook them to. Just clip the ends and tape them so they dont cause any shorts to the GPS unit.

Il prodotto arriva direttamente dal catologo Garmin, perfettamente funzionante ed ovviamente adatto al mio montana 680T. Peccato che , in questo la descizione Staffa per Montaggio a Tubolare per Gps Montana..... sia un po fuorviante, per attaccarlo al manubrio serve un altro componente con prezzi da i 45 ed i 65 euro.

Rugged mount works great. This is my second unit. I have it on a handelbar mount on my drz 400 E and when I went to order a mount for my new bike for a new bike it was an easy decision to make to use it again.
