Garmin Elastic strap for Heart Rate Monitor replacement, Standard Packaging

Unfortunately, this strap slides down my body to belly button when I sweat. I am small, 106 lbs, I have tried stuffing it under my bra line but it wont stay. I have tried 2 of them thinking the first one just got stretched out but it still wont stay. My husband has no problem and uses his each time he runs.

This Heart Rate Monitor is great and much more reliable than Garmins newer Soft Strap (P/N: HRM2-SS). I have had nothing but trouble with the Soft Strap: readings erratically ramping up, then dropping way down, the cutting in and out, etc. But, this heart rate monitor is more durable and consistent. Additionally, the battery is much easier to change out, as with the Soft Strap you have to remove 4 small screws to do so: you have to have a very small Phillips head screw driver, and if youre not careful you could easily lose one of the tiny screws. I just dont understand why Garmin had to change to this type of battery compartment, as it is a step backwards in design.

It fits my omron heart rate monitor, so Im pleased. Is as stated and arrived in a timely manner. Thank you for the quality product.

Perfect replacement for old worn out strap

I love it. Lost mine and thought that I would order a few more so that I did not have to keep washing mine everyday. It has worked splendid. Fast shipping and exactly what the description said.

Exact replacement for the hard HRM sending unit, which I prefer over the soft-strap version. Its packaging did have the insert prong bent sharp, and it still is. Normal method of taking it feels like its going to break it, so have to push prong from behind to get it started out.

Works and fits the Garmin Heart Rate monitor perfectly. These last for a long time if you take care of them. I wash the sweat out of the band with hot running water after every use, then hang and let dry.

Purchased as a replacement for strap obtained with original purchase of Garmin HRM.
