GE Lighting LED+ Color Changing LED Light Bulbs with Remote, No App or Wi-Fi Required, A19 Standard Bulbs (2 Pack)

This is an amazing light bulb. It has 8 color choices, daylight and soft white, and a remote control. The white light can be dimmed to 50% or 15%. There is even an on/off button on the remote. No special installation is required to use this bulb. It does not need wifi or an app for to work. Just screw it into the socket and turn it on. I put this bulb in the lamp in my family room. I like being able to switch between daylight/soft light and the dimmer is nice for lowering the light when watching TV. The colors are fun but not sure how much use I will get out of them as they are not very bright and more like mood lighting.

The bulbs do what they claim but the remote buttons wear out quickly. Its difficult to get them to function now.

The GE 60W equivalent bulb is pretty bright. It is super easy to install this bulb. All you need to do is screw it in the socket and tighten it. There is no setup required. Works with remote and its pretty responsive to the commands from the remote. Use of remote is pretty easy and is kind of self-explanatory. Its fun to play with different colors of lights. However, we mostly use it as white light only. The dimmable feature is also handy. However, I would have preferred a continuous dimer as compared to the current step dimmer with three values. All in all, it’s a nice bulb with multiple color settings and a handy remote. However, I am a big fan of automation and would prefer a bulb that connects to Wi-Fi instead of using a remote. First, one has to be in range to use an IR remote. Secondly and more importantly, the bulb becomes useless if you lose or misplace the remote. In summary, it’s a good bulb for those who don’t want to go through the hassle of setting up through Wi-Fi and are happy with the point and click of a remote.

You never know what you’re gonna get! Ordered some. Got the old style. Ordered more, got the new style. Ordered more, got the new style. Ordered more, got the old style. I don’t want the old style. I wanted the new style. The old style does not let you dim colors which makes them 110% useless for my purposes. $20 something dollars down the toilet. Fun fact: the “3 pack” is three singles thrown together.

Yeah they light up, but the option sent to me only is the 10 color option versus the 18 listed in the product title.

4 different brightness settings, great deep colors, built well, great value.

I love the different colors and we use the remote control that comes with the lightbulbs.

No setup needed. Small remote. Several color options. My teenage daughter loves them.

This little light bulb can light up a big room pretty well! Maybe a little too well but thats okay since I can dim it a little from the remote. Each chosen color lit the room around in that color, and I cannot complain on whether it is too dimmed or faded as it does its job well enough.

couldnt be easier to use...... however, every time you set the bulb to a specific color and then turn the bulb off, the bulb color reverts to white. Maybe Im not doing it right???
