This is a great light bulb that allows you to control it with a remote. No app required. I got this for my husband who has a music room. I thought he would enjoy being able to control the light color for mood lighting. I was right, he loves it. This is also great for people who do not want to have another app on their phone. My husband prefers the remote to having to use an app to control it. The colors are vivid. The only thing that I was disappointed by is that you can only dim the light on the white setting. So if you want a dim blue light you can not do it. The colored lights are only one brightness and thats it. Overall this is a fun light that is easy to figure out, no complicated apps to program.

I love this bulb. Installation is nothing more than screwing it in. The remote is super easy to navigate/use and you have quite a few lighting options. You can go from soft white to a vivid white, and adjust the brightness of those from 15, 50, and 100%. You also have a choice of 8 different colors, but from what I can tell you cant change the brightness of those. Theres a power button on the remote, so its easier to just leave the light itself always on at the wall switch or lamp switch, and just turn the light on and off with the remote. All in all its a pretty cool bulb that lets you easily change up the lighting of a room to fit any occasion.

The white bright light is awesome. Had it for a few months and still works great. The remote seems to be falling apart a little but it still works.

Very convenient for me because I can switch the light on and off from my bed as well as change the light colors and brightness. Downside, it picks up my Bluetooth speaker and can turn it off when I am trying to control my light.

My Sunroom that has a fan and two canisters lights connected to a single light switch. Since its nice to run the fan throughout the day, I would either have to get an electrician to install another wire to the lights or fan, but it wasnt worth a couple hundred bucks. So looked at bluetooth or wifi lights, but didnt want to have to get a phone or ask alexa everytime I wanted to to turn the lights off/on. Then I found these, at about half the cost of those smart bulbs, and bought them. They are awesome, besides being able to run the gambit rainbow colors, these will provide both daylight (~4000k) and soft white light (~3000K) AND dim them via the remote. Not much else I wanted - since each bulb comes with a remote, I mounted a remote by the light switch and on floats around the room!

These are in a guest room, so they have only been used a few times. So far they have worked, and because they will only be used a few times a year, should last a very long time. I would listen to reviews where the bulbs are used frequently.
