Gemini Taurus 3 Diamond Ring Saw

This saw throws so much water that you cant even see what the pattern looks like, I did not find any helpful hints to hnot help control this. I do very small pieces in my glass, the saw I used just wore out after 30 years of use I thought I would give this a try, did not work for me.

This cuts glass like butter. The Instructions were well put together and it was easy to assemble.

the lights could be better

its a fantastic machine that allows you to create pieces with complex shapes, the stained glass I show was made in a few hours. however, do not let go of the traditional method that allows you to be faster and more precise on straight lines. the blade is fragile ... really fragile and dissuasive price.I found where to buy it much cheaper. To cut, do not force and be patient, for that, just remember how long it usually takes ! Small comment that may interest the Europeans I had to buy a 220v adapter to make it work despite the price was lower than that practiced in France.

I have been using this for over a year. While the actual surface is normally adequate, I wish it were larger to accommodate bigger pieces of glass. However, in most instances it is really more than adequate. It is versatile and makes nice, clean cuts and is a true time saver. The base catches the tiny shards of glass which makes for a fast clean-up. Comes with a DVD that explains how to use the Taurus, but I did not watch it since I bought this after I had used my friends Taurus which sold itself. This is a great tool for anyone who makes stained glass items.

I bought this saw for a second workshop because I was so pleased with my first Taurus. Basic blade is round with abrasive on all sides which allows you to cut glass in any direction without turning the glass. Other blades (sold separately) will cut dichroic glass or thick glass. There is even a blade that separates so you can make an internal cut. It is loud so use ear protection. I highly recommend it.

Saw is amazing. Set up was easy. Works as advertised and makes intricate cuts surprisingly easy. I hesitated due to price but am glad I bought it. Band saw users give them up and use this!
