I have been using Gentleman Republic for nearly 5 years. I was introduced to it by my wife who is a hair stylist, and immediately fell in love with product. However, this most recent purchase I noticed something was off. They changed the formula. Now the product is not as tacky as it was before, and it does not do nearly as good of a job holding the style as it used to. I have to use three times as much product to be able to style my hair and have it hold the style. Very disappointed by this, and if it isnt fixed Im going to have to find an alternative product, which is a shame because I really enjoyed this product.

Works really good on both my husband and my son who have comb-over fades there barber uses this gel and it’s a lot cheaper to buy online then in the stores and it works just the same , it holds up in any weather, humidity and all! does not flake, it’ alcohol free, the smell is of a really good cologne, not overwhelming thou, my husband has wavy thick hair and my son has fine straight hair And it works on both hair types! My husband has used Johny B And other hair gel’s none of them compare to this one, my husband’s words not mine! Lol

Through trial and error I have settled on this product for daily use. I have longish wavy hair and this holds my hair in place for most of the day without being heavy or sticky.

This is by the far the best hair gel that Ive ever used. Smells great, doesnt flake at all, has a nice viscous gel that allows you to fix your hair in any style youd like and it lasts all day. I will never go back to other hair gels.
