    I bought my first one of these nozzles about 2 years ago, I am only just now buying a replacement for it and that is with tons of hours of print time under it. Great Nozzle, albeit do need to tweak the settings. On Brass for PLA I have been needing to hit about 220C vs the 200C with a brass nozzle, but considering how long it was before it seems the time to swap it out really serves to indicate the quality on these. Probably should have reviewed it sooner, but oh well.

    I was getting subpar prints because I was using cheaper copper nozzles that are ten bucks for like 20 of them. Just get this one. Prints improved 100% from first use. Cant wait to break out the glow filament!

    This is a good hardened nozzle I bought for carbon filament. I was afraid the original brass nozzle I had would be worn away by the abrasive carbon running through the nozzle. Ive been using this nozzle on every type of filament I own and had zero issues. Its a little pricey but real good quality.

    Purchased Genuine E3D Hardened Steel nozzle for printing exotic materials. Nozzle is made of high quality hardened steel which lasts indefinitely longer than softer nozzels. Highly recommended for anyone printing exotic materials like carbon fiber composite filament!!!

    The nozzle prints quite nice at slow speeds under 80 mm/s. Unfortunately due to my specific setup (LDO 2504AC) I get some massive VFA when I print less than 200 mm/s and a ton of resonance at 60-110 mm/s (I normally push 228 with nickel plated copper). This has led me to raising abs temps from 265 to 290 to compensate but it just doesn’t want to flow right and adhere at those speeds due to it being steel and me now just learning about this (oops). A better fit for me would be a tungsten nozzle. Not really the nozzle’s fault because it is tough as nails and survived a slow bed crash and the blob of death along with a ton of brass brushing. I’ll just keep it around as a spare because it’s part of the funny history of my printer now.

    I usually use this nozzle to print things like wood impregnated filaments or glittter or what have you. I have not tried anything like carbon or glass impregnated nylon yet, but I will likely get E3Ds new nozzle when I upgrade one of my machines to handle nylon.

    I installed this nozzle on my Ender 3. I immediately noticed it was under extruding while doing its first print. I tried to reinstall the nozzle just to make sure I didnt do it incorrectly the first time but the problem continued. I set my extrusion settings to 150% then to 200%. The prints started to stick better but the nozzle became clogged and stopped printing half way through the first layer. You have two options. It will either under extrude or get clogged.

    Likely received a defective nozzle. Nozzle is either extremely poor at conducting heat or inner diameter is far smaller than advertised. Underextrusion perpetually to the point where extruder motor is clicking from gears slipping due to too much resistance. Though it improved the higher the temp got ( up to 260* c for PLA!) I found no way to compensate in order to make this functional for any print.
