Genuine Honda (08E60-S9A-100) Keyless Entry Unit

Plugged it in and works fine with my 2004 Honda Element.

Read all of this to see the one dangerous issue! I found installation instructions on youtube. It was difficult to get out the little panel that gives access to the screw holding the cover in. It got a little damaged but its not visible so that was not critical. Exposing the connector was not hard but treat wires carefully and gently when you cut the tape to access the connector. Snap on the fob reader box and reconnect the battery. Follow the video closely! But there is one weird issue which potentially could give you trouble. After opening the locks with the fob they frequently automatically re-close after say 10 to 20 seconds. So if you somehow left fob and keys in car you could be screwed! The solution to this is to use the master lock control switch inside the drivers door to signal all locks to open (even if they are open with fob) If you do this they dont relock automaticlly. But for safety hang on to that fob.

Found the connection under drivers side kick panel. Upper left near firewall... Connected box to proper wire harness. Remotes worked as they should. The drivers door lock has worn out, so keys never worked drivers door lock. So easy to install, even a caver man could do it.....

Plug and play. Easy to install. Installed in my 03 Element and didnt have to program.

Quick install on a 2004 Honda Element. Simple as unclipping wire from the old unit and plugging in the new. The mount under the dash is tooless. Would buy again.

Easy to install, and worked great for 2 weeks, but in less than a month the batteries sometimes work, sometimes not, so its always a toss up if it will unlock or not w remote. Since its on my secondary car, it isnt driven much, so couldnt have been used more than 25 times. Guess I expected more for 100 bucks. :(

Watched a couple of YouTube videos and noted connector is on the left side of the fuse area. Connected it and programmed both remotes successfully.

Fast installation. Easy programming. No bracket but very light so I used zip ties to attach to another wire bundle.

As expected this worked immediately on my 2004 Element EX.

Plug and play kit for my grandparents 02 crv. Took less than 2 minutes to install and key fobs come pre-programmed.
