These bags are great. They are self-closing so you wont have to get dust all over your house. One reviewer is correct, the old bags had a sliding door that would close as you removed the bag. I agree, that was a nice feature. However, this is the only Miele replacement bag you can buy at the moment. The quality of Miele is unsurpassed and even though the design has changed, this is a great product, much better than buying a 3rd party replacement bag. No dirt escapes the bag. If you empty when the machine indicates that you need a new bag, then you wont have to worry about the dust escaping from the bag. Dust and dirt popping through the bag door seems to happen only when the bags are too full. Remember that when the bags are too full, the vacuum will loose some suction. Personally, I think these are way worth the price, especially when the alternative is using a bagless vacuum that spreads dust everywhere when you empty the bin.

Worth buying the right bags. I purchased cheaper ones and they just arent the same.

Works as advertised. Expensive, but worth it. Included filters.do.seem.to help, especially with pets in the house. Exhaust air seems clean, and I dont have problems with dirt or hair lingering in hidden corners after vacuuming.

Love my vacuum and love the convenience of getting these bags sent directly to my home.
