We got this during the recent Purpleair smoke event from the Canadian Wildfires, which came down & blanketed my city. I went outside the first day not knowing anything was going on & it smelled like a building was on fire We have this small Germ Guardian air purifier, is germ guardian one word? Probably anyway weve had it on/off for the last year or more. Needling to change filters due to the poor air quality & the fact the old filter was likely useless, we got this. Its not like this is a $500 air purifier to begin with so i wasnt expecting a new filter to change that but it works well enough for what it is.

Easily went into my air purifier, even though it had a yellow color on the band on outside my original one did not. Really thats about all you need. A filter just has to do its job once installed.

The whole air purifier is great. As others have stated, it seems as if they have gone cheap on the carbon filter. You can buy a bunch of carbon filters from anyone, and just double up. After that, it is still a good price

Purchased this E style replacement filter pack for our Germ Guardian AC4100 (the little one that looks more like a speaker). Have had the air purifier for just about a year, but officially only has about 5 months of use on it. Both filters were quite dirty, so figured it was time to replace them. As far as I can tell, this was the genuine filter set for our purifier. Visually the same as the old filters (minus all the nasty filth), and fit into the purifier exactly the same. Have had the new filters in for half a day and can notice a positive change in the smell in the room, and the purifier seems to be running just a little quieter. Old filters may have had a little restriction, or I may just be imagining things.

I love my air purifier but having cats and living in New England means being ready for dander and pollen. I noticed a burning smells after several months of the original filter. The smell went away after replacing it with this one. An air purifier is one of the best things you can add to your bedroom.

The charcoal fabric filter could be more sturdy, after a few washes it loses its shape & integrity.

I love my Germ Guardian air purifier, and the filters work very well! I live on the coast where its continuously damp, so were prone to mildew and mold. We also live in an older building that hasnt had many renovations, so dust is a huge problem as well. I use the air purifier in my bedroom and it does a wonderful job of keeping the air much more clean and breathable. I also use some charcoal moisture/odor absorbers in closets and underneath the bathroom sink as extra precautions. I keep the Germ Guardian running literally around the clock, and its held up beautifully! Definitely worth the $60!

These are great. I have pets an allergic to them an these are great. I have 2 sizes of these air purifiers an they are the best. The filter I like. Bought off brand these are best!!!
