Ghost Controls 3-Button Remote Transmitter for Automatic Gate Openers, Model AXS1

This product was easy to program, and works great!! This is an update… we initially installed a car battery instead of buying a specific battery. We have had ZERO problems , but other ppl that we have met are having continuous glitches and all of them complain about the batteries. So if you buy it sounds as though we did the right thing by using a car battery instead of purchasing specific batteries!

I push the button the gate opens! It works from quite some distance away too! Id say about 40m. It was super easy to program with the controller that came with the gate. Not sure how long the battery will last, but so far, 4 months in, still opens no problem!

I bought this spare remote with the sole purpose of dismantling it and hooking it up to a wireless smart switch relay. The range on the remote is fairly good. About a 100ft away from my gate, tucked away in the basement (so no clear line of sight), the signal is able to reliably open/close the gate. I dont know what the max distance is as I havent tested that. Search youtube for how to videos on hooking it up to a relay switch. Took me about 20 min, and Ive never soddered before. However, now this little remote is hooked into my alexa which allows me to control my Ghost Controls gate via Alexa and even automate things such as auto close/open on a schedule. No clue why Ghost Controls doesnt make it easier for folks to do this.

Uses proprietary tech to make sure you cant use a generic remote. blatant money grab.

Easy to install

Easy to program. Like the party button for days a contractor is coming in and out.

We replaced our third GTO MightyMule with Ghost. It is yet to be determined how it operates as compared to Mighty Mule. In the short term it was easy to install and very easy to use. It also appears to be able to pick up signals at a greater distance. At first glance the unit I am sure will be just fine.

Easy to program

I have had the ghost control gate openers on both of my gates for over nine years. I have had no trouble with the openers. The openers work great. l would recommend ghost control to anyone who wants a great product.

We have had our Ghost Model TSS1XP solar gate for almost 3 years. We have remotes for our main vehicle and hubs 18 wheeler work truck. We finally got an extra remote for his farm pickup. Watched a YouTube video to learn how to remember how to program it. Worked on the second try. No complaints or issues. The other 2 remotes we have EXACTLY like this one we have had for almost 3 years. No issues.
